The Question:

Are there many buses going from A.G. Constantinos to Athens? how often do these run and how much does it usually cost? Can you pre-book these?

The Answer:

Hi!
There are frequent bus connections from Agios Constantinos to Athens. During the summer period there is a bus leaving almost every hour. Unfortunately, there is no pre-booking option for bus tickets, but you will be able to find tickets, there is always availability, so you do not need to worry! From Igoumenitsa to Kifissia, Athens

The Question:

Hi!
We want to go from Bari, Italy to Igoumenitsa, Greece then on to Kifissia. Can you please tell me the cheapest/fastest way to do that?
thanks

The Answer:

Hello!
First of all, Kifissia is a suburb of Athens. As a result, you need to take a suburban bus (KTEL) from Igoumenitsa to Athens. As soon as you arrive at the Kifissos KTEL station in Athens, then there is a bus 051 that will take you to the city center and very close to the metro station of Omonoia. From the metro station of Omonoia, take the green line and take off at Kifissia station.
Hope this will be helpful to you!

Bus from Piraeus to Igoumenitsa

The Question:

Hi
We are planning to travel from Crete to Corfu in as little time as possible. We were hoping to catch the overnight ferry from Kissamos to Piraeus, and then are hoping to catch a bus to Igoumenitsa and onto Corfu. Just unsure of where buses depart from in Athens and how frequently? Do any buses leave directly from Piraeus? Thanks so much
Claire

The Answer:

Dear Claire,

Unfortunately there is no bus leaving straight from Piraeus to Igoumenitsa. You need to reach the suburban bus station KTEl Kifisos and from there take the bus to Igoumenitsa. The Kifisos station is approximately 20-25 minutes from Piraeus port by taxi. Otherwise you can take the metro (green line) from Piraeus up to Omonoia and from there the bus 051 which will take you to the Kifisos Bus station. Buses to Igoumenitsa depart daily 4 times a day (2 in the mornign, 1 midday and one in the afternoon).
I hope I have helped you!

Travelling to Skiathos by Bus and Ferry

The Question:

Hi there,
I need to get from Athens to Skiathos and back again, but I am having trouble finding flights - is there any other way you can reccomend?
Thanks
Bronwyn

The Answer:

Thank you for asking me stuff!
So, there is actually a flight connection between Athens and Skiathos but unfotunately there is only one flight per day and airplanes have approximately 40 seats capacity which means that everything is fully booked two months in advance.
You can also reach Skiathos by bus and ferry. You can take the suburban bus KTEL from the Athens central bus station under the name "KTEL Liosion", which can easily be reached as I mention in aprevious answer of mine, and head to Volos or Agios Constantinos. Both cities have ports from where ferries to Skiathos depart daily and with more than 3 itineraries per day and no availability problems in general.
I hope this has worked for you!

Transportation to and from Volos

The Question:

Best way to get to port of pireaus from volos?
Best way to get from Athens international airport to Volos?

The Answer:

Thank you for the question!
So, if you are already in Volos, then you need to take the suburban bus (KTEL) which will take you to Athens. As soon as the bus arrives in Athens you will be at the Liosion Suburban Bus Station (KTEL Liosion). From there you can take a bus that goes straight to the metro (green line) and the station's name is "Kato Patisia". By using the metro and taking off at Piraeus (last station) you will have arrives right outside the port of Piraeus.
From the Athens International Airport it is better to take the metro (blue line) and change at Monastiraki to the green line and then take off at Kato Patisia station. From there you can take a bus that will take you to the Liosion Suburban Bus Station (KTEL Liosion) and from there take the suburban bus to Volos.
There are more than one bus lines that can take you from the Kato Patisia station to the Liosion Suburban Bus station. It is better check the bus itineraries first before boarding on one or just ask at the metro station!
I hope this has helped you!
