Mobile Phones in Greece

The Question:

Hi Stavros. My partner and I want to use our mobile phones in Greece. Do we need to buy sim cards in Greece and do they fit all mobile phones?

The Answer:

Hello there!
Since you do not give me any information regarding the model of your mobile phone, I can not be sure if it will be working in Greece. Moreover, if you have activated the roaming service on your mobile phone it should be working. Regarding the charges, your mobile provider will inform you respectively. If you do not wish to activate roaming, then the ideal solution would be to buy a greek SIM card, so that you can make calls from your mobile phone too.

Charging an Australian mobile phone in Greece

The Question:

How will i charge my Australian mobile phone in Greece? Will it fit in the power points. Or where could I buy an adaptor?

The Answer:

Hello!
It is true that your Australian mobile phone charger will not fit the greek power points, but you can buy an adapter as soon as you arrive at the Athens International Airport. There are shops which sell mobile devices in general located on the Departures floor of the airport, where you can buy the suitable adapter for you!
