Besides archaeological sites, there are also beautiful small villages on the first and the second peninsula of Chalkidiki. The third one is where the holy place of Agios Oros is located, which is a region that belongs to the monks og Agio Oros and only men can visit. Depending on the means of your travel, choices of attractions differ. Highlights of the area though, are Nea Potidiaia, Afytos and Kalandra.
